The intention of yoga is to lead us towards a path of spiritually upward movement by invoking disciplines to aid the physical body, the mind, our emotional responses, and our general well-being.  The word yoga, nowadays, is being used as a buzz word to promote health.  It is important to understand that yoga is a technique that can bring our physical body into harmony and balance, but the journey does not end there.  The physical practice of yoga is one that aims to remove physical blocks by bringing us to deeper levels of consciousness and understanding of ourselves and the universe we inhabit.

At Ananda Kula, our work focuses on bringing a balance between the new-comers to yoga as well as being a space for serious students of the practice 7 days a week.  Choose from various systems and styles of yoga from Kula Flow (athletic vinyasa yoga), Ashtanga, open level, and gentle – all with the potency of ancient spiritual and philosophical teachings intact.  We also offer prenatal yoga, mommy & me classes and kids yoga.

We offer a standard of excellence unlike many other yoga schools. Our staff are required to have their own daily practice and continue to study with master teachers, providing quality, authentic instruction to all students.
