Yoga Etiquette
Class etiquette & First time students
- Reservations are not required, but please arrive ten minutes early to notify the instructor of any physical limitations, ailments, and medical conditions.
- Please leave your shoes and belongings in the lobby, we do lock the door during class. Please turn off your mobile phone.
- Respect your limits. Acknowledge that your body and mind will feel different every day; listen to what your body tells you and practice in your own time following your own breath.
- Practice with care and consideration towards yourself and others.
- Please do not eat for at least two hours before class. if you must, eat something small and easy to digest like fruit or nuts.
- It is not recommended to drink water during class so be sure to hydrate yourself by drinking plenty of water before and after class.
- Mats are available for first time students, but you are encouraged to purchase your own mat for hygienic purposes. Manduka Mats are also for sale in the boutique.
- Wear comfortable workout clothing that will breath. Avoid very baggy clothing.
- Yoga is not competitive. we all are different shapes and sizes with individual needs. honor your body at all times and know that you can modify or skip any yoga posture when needed during class.
